June Clark
As a former agent and now our online administrator, June Clark built a strong client list with a focus on nonfiction projects in the areas of entertainment, self-help, parenting, reference/how-to books, food and wine, style/beauty, and pop culture.
As a published author (under June Rifkin), June co-wrote Signature for Success: How to Analyze Handwriting and Improve Your Career, Your Relationships, and Your Life (with Arlyn Imberman), and The Complete Book of Astrology (with Ada Aubin). She recently co-authored and project managed The One World Tarot book/card set (with Lena Rodriguez and Seanna Rose). June has also ghostwritten and edited several other titles in the areas of health, psychology, and parenting.
June received her M.A. in Writing and Publishing from Emerson College, with a focus on playwriting. Her play, Separation Anxiety, was produced in Boston and is published by Next Stage Press. A monologue from the play is also featured in One on One: The Best Women’s Monologues of the 21st Century.
Before moving into publishing, June worked in the cable TV industry handling marketing, and promotion major programming services and cable operators. She also worked for several promotion agencies as a consultant and copywriter on campaigns for Food Network, HBO, A&E, and Nickelodeon. She is the recipient of a Cable ACE/Emmy award.
Although June is NOT currently seeking new clients and closed to submissions, she is focusing on author platform and website building, book proposal writing, ghostwriting, and editorial consulting for emerging authors through her company, Get There Media.
