June Clark

As Senior Associate at the Peter Rubie Literary Agency in New York since 1998, June has built a strong client list with a focus on nonfiction projects in the area of entertainment, self-help, parenting, reference/how-to books, teen books, food and wine, style/beauty, and prescriptive business titles.

June received her M.A. in Writing and Publishing from Emerson College, with a focus on playwriting. Her play, Separation Anxiety, was produced at the Brimmer Street Theater in Boston.

A published author, June co-wrote Signature for Success: How to Analyze Handwriting and Improve Your Career, Your Relationships, and Your Life (with Arlyn Imberman) and The Complete Book of Astrology (with Ada Aubin). She is also the author of The Everything Mother Goose Book and The Everything Baby Name Book. Additionally, a monologue from one her plays is featured in the new book, One on One: The Best Women’s Monologues of the 21st Century.

Prior to being an agent, Clark worked in marketing and promotion in Cable TV. She is the recipient of a Cable ACE award among other industry merits.

In between agenting responsibilities, June leads workshops on writing and publishing, handles freelance writing assignments, and continues to pursue her interests in writing and theater.
